Bungie switches Destiny 2 emote for an exploit that completely ruins PvE

Destiny 2 is such an enormous game that sometimes elements of it will interact in strange and unexpected ways. The latest unexpected glitch to hit the game allowed players to completely break PvE confrontations with the judicious use of specific emotions, but Bungie has already eliminated one to combat it.

The emote in question is called Coin Flip, and players discovered that activating the emote along with each other that includes holograms – like chairs Guardians can sit on – allows enemies to track down players. You had to use the emotions in the loaded areas ahead of the spots that populated enemies, and executed correctly, the exploitation made it possible to kill everything in an area with enemies that never responded to your presence. The operator apparently worked almost everywhere in the game, and basically broke everything.

In response, Bungie turned off the Coin Flip emote, about whom it tweeted on Friday.

It’s not yet clear when the Coin Flip emote might be fixed – so unfortunately you people may not like the Drifter at first.
