BTS’s song ‘Your Eyes Tell’ premieres at no. # 1 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart


BTS continues to make waves with their Japanese studio album Soul Map: 7 ~ The Journey ~. With “Your Eyes Tell”, a B-side song on the album, BTS made their 21st song on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.

BTS just released their new Japanese album

The Korean band released Soul Map: 7 ~ The Journey ~ on July 14, 2020. Before it was announced, ARMY suspected that the group would release a Japanese studio album in 2020, as they generally release a Japanese studio album every two years.

They released their first Japanese album Awake on December 24, 2014. The group’s second Japanese studio album. Youth fell on September 7, 2016. Before Soul Map: 7 ~ The Journey ~, his most recent Japanese album was Face yourself, and was released on April 4, 2018.

When full-length albums are not released, the band frequently releases Japanese singles and versions of their songs in the Korean language. In 2019, they released a Japanese single titled “Lights” along with Japanese versions of their songs “Boy With Luv” and “IDOL”.

Soul Map: 7 ~ The Journey ~ features 13 tracks featuring five original Japanese songs: “INTRO: Calling”, “Stay Gold”, “Lights”, “Your Eyes Tell” and “OUTRO: The Journey”. The album has eight Japanese versions of BTS’s Korean songs: “Boy With Luv”, “Make It Right”, “Dionysus”, “Idol”, “Airplane Pt. 2”, “Fake Love”, “Black Swan” and “ON”.

‘Your Eyes Tell’ has reached multiple milestones

In Soul Map: 7 ~ The Journey ~, “Stay Gold” is the lead single, and will be the theme song for the Japanese drama Rasen no Meikyū (Helical Labyrinth). “Your Eyes Tell” is a song from the B side of the album and will be the title track for a Japanese movie of the same name to be released in October 2020.

Soul Map: 7 ~ The Journey ~ He debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Albums chart with 447,869 copies sold in 24 hours, setting a record for first-day sales by a Korean artist in Japan. In North America, the album debuted at number 115 on the Billboard 200 chart and at number 2 on the Billboard world album chart.

“Your Eyes Tell” debuted at number 1 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart, and is the band’s 21st song to reach No. 1 on the chart. The song also reached 102 number 1 on iTunes worldwide, making it the second song by BTS to do so. BTS’s song “Black Swan” currently has 104 No. 1 on iTunes charts worldwide, and V’s solo song “Sweet Night” holds the record for the most No. 1 at 110.

BTS fans are very proud of the group

“Your Eyes Tell” has quickly become one of the most popular songs on BTS’s discography. ARMY loves the ballad for its encouraging message to keep persevering in dark times. Jungkook composed and co-wrote the song, and fans are proud of their work and what BTS has accomplished with the song.

“It is not easy to trace in Japan, and I am proud of bts and J-armys,” one fan tweeted.

“His eyes say he is so successful and I hope jungkook sees all these achievements … I am very proud,” wrote a Twitter user.
