BTS Joins Lineup for Virtual 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival

BTS will organize a performance for the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2020!

This year’s show is a two-day virtual mega-concert that will take place on September 18 and 19. Artists include BTS, Coldplay, and Kane Brown, with special guests Khalid, Keith Urban, Migos, Miley Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Usher, and more. The concert is organized by Ryan Seacrest.

iHeartRadio announced that the festival is planned to include “unique collaborations and surprise performances.” It will be recorded live from venues in Los Angeles and Nashville, and the show will feature artists behind the scenes talking about how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted their lives, their families, and the industry.

Fans who watch live will have the opportunity to appear on the fan video wall during their favorite show, and there will also be virtual opportunities to meet and greet as well as fans introducing the artists.

The festival can be seen live on September 18 and 19 at 9 p.m. ET through The CW App and CWTV.com.

After BTS had to postpone their 2020 world tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have joined other world stars in virtual events including “James Corden’s HomeFest: Late Late Show Special” and the virtual graduation ceremony of YouTube “Dear Class of 2020”. Her own online pay-per-view concert “BANG BANG CON: The Live” in June attracted a virtual audience of more than 750,000 people from 107 different regions worldwide.
