After TikTok star Bryce Hall threw a huge 21st birthday party over the weekend, he and his guests, as well as other influencers in his social circle, spoke out about criticism of the party’s maskless crowd and the failure of pandemic guidelines. in place by California officials to help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
Videos of the party, held in a TikToker mansion called the Sway House in the Hollywood Hills, appear to show well over 100 guests at the party. Social media reports also appear to show that LAPD officers broke up the party around 4 AM PT, although the department did not provide insider details about related incidents.
When dozens of TikTok influencers gathered in Hall’s residence, male and female strippers also arrived to dance on him in the middle of a crowd, giving videos. The entertainment contractor hired for the evening told Insider that they had signed a non-disclosure agreement about the party.

Hall’s party was apparently one of the biggest gatherings of influencers since starting quarantine, but influencer partying has become a hot-button issue in the LA community, where most social media stars live and socialize.
COVID-19 cases are growing through in California and LA County, and in early August, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti said households that were throwing large gatherings could shut down power, water and utilities throughout the city.
Paparazzi chased Hall, other members of the Sway House, and party guests to get their reactions to the backlash. Several attendees, including Hall, have also posted online since.
Hall avoided paparazzi questions about his party, but positioned himself and gave critics the middle finger on TikTok
Famous LA influential paparazzi The Hollywood Fix chased Hall on two occasions the day after his August 14 party, first when he left a restaurant and then later when he left a dispensary for marijuana. Hall declined to answer questions about the party, and asked on Sunday for “privacy.”
The morning after the party, however, Hall posted what was a TikTok response to his criticism. He now wrote “cmon” in the title of the video, making faces and gesturing with his middle finger to Kesha’s party song “Take It Off”. Hall has 13 million followers on the app.
Other influencers were more apprehensive when asked about the party. Hype House member Avani Gregg, who has 24.5 million TikTok followers, was spotted at Sway House during Hall’s party. In an interview with The Hollywood Fix, Gregg said she was only at home for about 15 minutes and was only there because her friend Anthony Reeves (a colleague of Sway House) wishes Hall a happy birthday.
“It’s a pandemic, I mean, we need to stay safe, we need to test and use such things to make sure we stay safe,” Gregg said. “That that has a lot of people is not good at all. But also people just walk in sometimes. What we heard, at least what Anthony heard, is that it was a little party with just the boys. Then it turned out to be that.”
Influencer drama sleuth Def Noodles pointed out that Hall and other members of Sway House appeared to be planning for a big party, posted videos of dozens of cases of the hard-hitting White Claw and noted that they were “perhaps more needed for tonight” hours before it party began.

TikTok star Cynthia Parker also commented on the party for The Hollywood Fix, noting that “it was his 21st”, saying she did not necessarily agree with it, but justified it for the occasion.

A separate Hollywood paparazzi named Celebrity Livin also stopped former Hype House member and famous TikToker Dixie D’Amelio over the weekend and asked her about Hall’s party. D’Amelio did not attend Hall’s party, but last week she threw her own 19th birthday party with a significantly smaller guest list.
“I just think everyone needs to think more about other people,” D’Amelio said. “Even if it doesn’t affect you, it does affect other people.”
Taylor Caniff, a former Vine star, also tweeted and deleted a message to party critics: “same people complain about people divorcing [sic] in LA the same people as they were invited would also appear. “

He tweeted later “hahha sorry for anyone who triggered tweet … wear your mask and be responsible. Good vibes here.” Caniff’s tweet garnered even more responses, including from YouTube reporter Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem of YouTube, who posted a video review, asking influencers to think of their fans whose family members have died from the coronavirus.

“What about the fans who killed their grandmother, that their grandfather died, that their parents died, that their aunt or uncle died of COVID?” Frege Keem. “What’s up with her? When she sees these videos that your guys freely post on social media of your parties? With no masks, nothing. How do you think they feel? She probably hates your f- guts. “
