Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has shared a brilliant post about Paul Pogba highlighting the hidden key role his teammate provided in the victory over Bournemouth.
United posted a 5-2 victory on Saturday to score 16 unbeaten matches.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team sits fifth and two points clear of Chelsea after a brace from Mason Greenwood and goals from Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Fernandes.
While Greenwood and Martial made the headlines more at Old Trafford, Fernandes again offered a dominant display and capped it off with a wonderful free kick.
Both he and Pogba overcame the free kick in the second half and the Portuguese star explained that it was the French World Cup winner who advised him where to place the ball.
Fernandes posted a photo of him and Pogba standing on the ball on Instagram and explained, “When you trust @paulpogba’s advice, this is the result. Slide to one side.”
United fans will love the relationship being built between midfielders Fernandes and Pogba and hope it is a sign of what’s to come.
Pogba has not reached his potential in the Reds since he rejoined Juventus and has been linked to a withdrawal.
But the hope is that Fernandes can bring out the best in Pogba in the future.
