Bruce Springsteen, Bette Midler, Maggie Rogers & More Get Work-Up Over 2020 Democratic National Convention

With less than three months until the election, there is an awful lot of stakes. And a ton of work to do.

That did not go unnoticed by “blue” voters, as the Democratic National Convention began Monday night (August 17) in a virtual format.

A lineup of musical stars is expected to appear during the event of days including John Legend, The Chicks, Jennifer Hudson and Billie Eilish.

On opening night, indie pop star Maggie Rogers, bluesman Leon Bridges, Broadway star Billy Porter and musician Stephen Stills joined the action.

The Boss made something of a spiritual appearance as “The Rising” soundtrack offered Joe Biden’s bid for the presidency.

Thousands of people watching at home shared their thoughts on speeches by Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders and more than #DemConvention trended on social media.

Bruce Springsteen, Bette Midler, Eva Longoria and others from the worlds of music and entertainment joined the conversation. See below.
