Broncos fined quarterbacks for violating COVID-19 protocol

The Broncos head coach Vic Fangio’s announcement on Wednesday about the team’s quarterbacks went beyond sharing that the Black Bortals would not practice to limit possible contact in COVID-19.

Fangio also said that Bortels, Drull, C, Brett Ripion and Jeff Driscall Has been fined For violating the League’s COVID-19 protocol. A video of the quarterbacks meeting before Driscale’s positive test showed that four players in a row failed to wear masks during the season. All four players lost to the Saints 311-3 last Sunday.

Fangio did not disclose the amount of the fine, saying only that it follows a “similar penalty schedule” like other violations of the protocol. He sounded ready to put the whole matter behind the team.

“That was a mistake,” Fengio said. “We paid the price for what happened in the game. Now is the time for all of us to move on. ”

Lock and Ripion are back in business on Wednesday and Lock should start this Sunday in Kansas City.
