President Trump visited two states in the wake of the massive increase in Kovid-19 cases, where he did not talk about what the administration could do to stop the rising rates or the nationwide increase.

Trump traveled to Michigan – which saw more than 2,000 cases a day on Thursday and Friday – its highest daily case rate ever – and Wisconsin, which set a record this week for the number of cases. Friday was the sixth highest number of cases since the epidemic began.

In both rallies and in view of its earlier events, thousands of attendees did not wear masks. However, people who were selected by the campaign to sit behind the president in both programs to capture part of the president’s talking television images were seen wearing Trump masks. Social distance was not shown in any of the events.

Trump’s speeches covered the familiar realm, the president claimed the nation needed to open up, China is guilty of the virus, and it has recovered quickly. He also targeted what he claimed to be his immunity to the virus, although it was not known if he was medically accurate.

In Gensville, Wisconsin, Trump again erroneously asserted that the nation is “round the corner,” even though it leads to what looks like a third spike in cases. He said, “You’ll see it. We’re going round the corner.” The vaccine for the virus is close, Trump claimed, “except for a little politics.” There is no evidence that progress towards the vaccine has slowed down due to political conspiracies.

Trump told his supporters how some states have seen spikes before but are now moving in the right direction: “My plan is to crush the virus and make Wisconsin more than ever before, which is about to happen. It will happen quickly. ”

He also erroneously blamed the additional reports – which actually come from non-partisan universities – on Democrats.

During a rally in Muscat, Michigan, he blamed the epidemic for his current political situation, without citing evidence. “You know, we were pushing a lot, this thing wasn’t even going to be an election, and then we had the plague. You know, this was it, I had to go back to this stuff.”

Trump talked about his recovery at both rallies. “Hey, I’m here! I am. OK? He told the Michigan crowd.
