Amazon has come a long way from the first Kindle Fire tablet. The Amazon Fire HD10 is Amazon’s largest tablet with a 10-inch screen size and powerful speakers (and now it charges via USB-C). Like its smaller 8-inch brother, the Fire HD 8, the tablet is also packed with benefits for prime subscribers, making it easier for members to stream and download movies, TV shows and games. Fire Tablets do not use the pure version of Android, but instead pulls apps from Amazon’s Android-based Fire operating operating system and the Amazon App Store. You can still get apps from Google Play, but you’ll need to install the store manually – meaning gaming enthusiasts have access to all of their favorite mobile games for a great gaming tablet experience. read more.

The Fire HD 8 was updated earlier this year with faster processor, USB-C charging, better Wi-Fi performance, 2GB RAM (more than 1.5GB) and 16GB to 32GB storage in the base model. Its HD screen is sharper than the entry-level Fire 7, but not as sharp as the iPad display. Thanks to the HD 8 Plus 3GB RAM, wireless charging and a little better performance will be added. The Fire HD 8 Plus adds wireless charging and more RAM (3GB instead of 2GB), which improves on the standard Fire HD8 with performance. The tablet should charge just fine on most wireless charging pads. Read our Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus review.

Caution Warning: We think you should pay for the Fire HD 8, a better, faster tablet than the entry level Fire 7. But at $ 40, many know this non-HD 7-inch model will be attractive.

This kid-friendly version of the Fire HD 8 tablet adds a Kids Plus (formerly known as Freetime Unlimited), a padded case, parental controls, a two-year warranty and a one-year subscription, which typically costs 3 a month. Gives access to a set of child-friendly content. It’s not really perfect for remote learning, but it’s a cheaper option than giving a full-iPad or iPad to a small child.

It has all the extras like the HD8 above, but it’s a smaller, cheaper version of the Amazon Fire 7 as a childproof version. You’re getting a 7-inch screen instead of 8 and a less robust processor.
