Bill Gates wants to do his part to try to reduce the impact of the warming planet. He has just published a book about climate change. It turns out that it is also changing parts of its life to reduce carbon emissions.

At Gates’ latest Ask Me Anything session on Reddit on Friday, a user asked a Microsoft co-founder what people could do to reduce their carbon emissions. Among other things, he recommended that people consume less.

Another user asked what he does for less usage.

“On the personal front, I’m doing a lot more,” Gates wrote. “I drive an electric car. I have solar panels in my house. I eat artificial meat (some time!) The cost of houses to replace natural gas.”

Gates predicted in November that more than half of major business trips would go after the coronavirus epidemic. On Friday he showed how he could manifest in his own schedule.

“Now I plan to fly much less as the epidemic has shown we can travel less,” he wrote. Micro .ft Teams creates an application that enables workers to chat and meet on video calls. When Gates stepped down from the board of microsoft last year, he is a microsoft investor, and he is still reviewing the products the company is developing.

Gates also mentioned programs to promote green efforts.

“I’ve created Breakthrough Energy, including Venture Funds, Fellows and Catalysts to help the environment,” he wrote. “The innovation for me is that it will make it possible to provide services to everyone without emissions.”
