Actor Bhumika Chawla, who shared a screen with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, shared a poignant note about Sushant’s untimely death on Friday. Bhumika had played Sushant’s on-screen sister in the Neeraj Pandey movie.
She wrote how she still wonders what really happened: “It’s been almost 20 days… and I wake up thinking about you. I still wonder what it was … only one shared the screen space as a character briefly, but still teamed up together “
Unsure if it was depression, she wondered if it was a personal problem or a professional dispute, and continued: “… Was it depression, personal? Then you should have talked … If it was professional, you had already done it made such good movies … “
Bhumika agreed that survival was never easy in the film industry. She said: “YES, I ACCEPT that it is not easy to survive here, I am not talking about people from inside or outside, IT IS WHAT IT IS, yes, if I have to connect with someone, even after having made more than 50 films, no It’s easy, but I’m still thankful that I’m doing work, maybe I just choose to work in this perspective, constantly pressuring myself to think and believe well. Yes, there are times when you call or message people in the industry (Bollywood or elsewhere) people are really WARM and KIND, but we find those who refuse to acknowledge it or just ignore it: THE WORLD IS MADE OF ALL SORTS … “
Bhumika spoke about how people politely refuse and how, in recent years, he has also struggled to communicate: “THERE are most of those who will always respect you, but few when they need you come to you, but when you drop a jingle saying that you would love to work with them, they say that we will see it … or we will smile at it (although I never believed in doing it before, in recent years I made an effort, that’s what life is) nothing comes without effort and hard work – ) … STILL GRATEFUL TO GOD for everything … I choose to say that it is okay, maybe one does not fit the bill, the paper and, therefore, it is okay ….. POSITIVE … “
He also spoke about Mumbai as the city of dreams and the very nature of success and failure. “… and finally, if there is anything more to you than professional disappointment or depression for various reasons: YEH SHAHAR HAME HAMARE SAPNE DETA HAI, Naam deta hai … kabhi Kabhi Gumnaam bhi karta … lakho ki aabadi mein kuch TANHA BHI KARTA HAI ….. …….. if there was anything else, I hope we get to know what it is … until then FINAL GOODBYE … PRAYERS FOR YOU – wherever you want you and pray for your family. “
Bhumika’s note found that many agreed with her. Actor Sonal Chauhan, responding to his comment, wrote: “Very well said. And I share the same emotion. I just can’t get it out of my mind. So many thoughts … so many questions.
One fan replied, “There are many people, including myself, who are still upset by this incident.” Another said, “I still don’t think it’s gone anymore.” A third person said, “I can’t get it out of my mind. Miss Miss.
Sushant died of suicide on June 14, at age 34. I was suffering from depression. The police have ruled out foul play.
