Veteran journalist Carl Bernstein tweeted Sunday that he has a list of 21 Republican senators who have privately expressed “extreme contempt” for President Donald Trump but will not disclose it in public.
Bernstein, who reported on the Watergate scandal that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon in the 1970s, said senators often considered Trump and his health to be potts in colleagues, staff members, lobbyists and conversations. White House aides.

These 21 senators make up 40% of the Senate’s 53 Republicans.
