Stoch wins on Bischofshofen standings – power quarter

Austria’s ski jumpers performed very strongly in qualifying for Bischofshofen on Tuesday. Stefan Kraft landed in fourth place immediately ahead of Daniel Huber, Michael Hayböck (7th), Philipp Aschenwald (10th) and Gregor Schlierenzauer (11th) secured new solid positions. Tour leader Kamil Stoch won the classification 0.6 points ahead of Robert Johansson and 0.7 ahead of Halvor Egner Granerud (both NOR).

Of the twelve ÖSV jumpers who competed, eleven will be part of the decision for the tour at Epiphany. Only Jan Hörl has to look. He wasn’t even at the start because he had to pass practice Tuesday after the first jump with a sore knee for the competition. He was taken to Radstadt-Obertauern Hospital with a suspected meniscus injury.
