On November 2, 2020, around 4:50 pm, employees of the St. Pölten City Police Command were informed of a physical injury at the intersection of Praterstrasse and Kremser Landstrasse in the city of St. Pölten.
S T. PÖLTEN (pa). Investigations revealed that an unknown male offender attacked a 25-year-old from St. Pölten for previously unknown reasons. After the perpetrator likely wounded the 25-year-old with a knife to his back, he likely fled north. The wounded man went to St. Pölten University Hospital, where he received emergency medical attention. His life is not in danger. The search for the unknown author, which began immediately, was unsuccessful.
The Lower Austrian State Criminal Police Office, body and life investigation area, has taken over the investigation. Based on the investigations carried out so far, a connection to the incidents on the night of November 2, 2020 in Vienna can be excluded.
