A beer, a schnitzel, a pen and the registration of contact persons – in the future, there will be nothing in the owner without registration if the district is orange.
S T. PÖLTEN. Anyone who comes to the inn on Monday will also be asked to complete the “Contact Person Registration” sheet when handing out the menu. Or sign up for a contact tracker app. The basis for this is that the district is colored orange at the Corona traffic light.
Prevention is better than cure: the objective is that guests can spend a carefree time at the inn and, above all, avoid the curfew being advanced. Because if the afternoon business fails, this means short-term work and layoffs.
At the press conference in St. Pölten’s Roten Hahn, led by Christian Widgruber, Provincial Councilor Jochen Danninger and Mario Pulker, Head of the Lower Austria Tourism Division, reported on the new developments for Lower Austria from 5 October .
It is certain that no one who does not register in the guest sheet or in an application will not be attended. It is also true that if someone believes
“to be registered as Snow White of Duckburg, then the restorer is not responsible”,
so much. In German, there is no compulsory identification, of course, guests can write any name on the guest sheet, but it doesn’t make sense.
Avoid a second lock
With the registration obligation, one wants to avoid a second lock:
“With the mandatory entry in the guest sheet, a possible chain of contagion can be broken”,
so Danninger. It is important to both the economy and the catering industry that the work can continue; otherwise, there is a risk of further major losses. So far 55 percent have been in the catering industry, as Pulker explains.
Therefore, both Danninger and Pulker appeal: “It is not painful to fill in the slip, with the measures taken we are on the safe side.”
Frequent questions:
If I visit a pub twice in one day, do I have to register twice?
Yes, after all, other people are also present at the inn at other times.
Do I have to check in when I’m sitting in the guest garden?
No. And that is what distinguishes Lower Austria from Vienna. This must be done very well in the federal capital.
Is there a contact tracing app that has already been certified?
No. There are different offers. Currently, the state prefers neither. The main thing is that you have registered.
What about my data?
The notes are kept in the tavern, that is, they are filed in a folder. The record sheet indicates the following: The data collected will only be transmitted at the request of the responsible health authority to trace possible routes of infection.
What are the penalties for not registering?
There are currently no responses to this. According to provincial councilor Jochen Danninger, only a warning will be issued first. However, there are penalties for both the guest and the host. As it became known tonight, October 2, the amount of the penalty will be announced by the respective district administration on Monday.
Are there exceptions to the registration requirement?
Yes, school buffets don’t have to record.
How is the registration now?
If the district is green or yellow at the Corona light, you do not need to register. Registration is mandatory in Orange, events with exclusively assigned and marked seats are only allowed with a maximum number of up to 250 people in closed rooms and with a maximum number of up to 1,000 people in the outdoor area; Non-visitors to sporting events (except family and Bundesliga games)
Is the district red? Then the curfew will be brought forward at 10 pm
