In February 2018, he was sentenced to three months by the Vienna Regional Criminal Court for defamation and sentenced to a fine of 2,200 euros. Currently, proceedings are pending against him in the Vienna Regional Court for Criminal Matters due to another publication against which an interested person had initiated legal action. At the first hearing in mid-June, the 68-year-old behaved so badly – among other things, he made it clear that his “ennoblement” as a recount was imminent – that the judge had a psychiatric report obtained. I wanted to clarify whether the man is sane and therefore to blame.

The expert classifies the man as crazy, but considers him so dangerous that he himself – in the event of a guilty verdict in public proceedings – for admission to an institution for mentally abnormal lawbreakers. In view of this, it would not be a surprise if the prosecutor’s office quickly filed a request for temporary detention under Section 429 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to deprive the man of the opportunity to further intimidate government officials.
Justice Minister Zadic, who faced abuse, insults and rants on the Internet when she took office, declined to comment on the latest events related to her person. In a press conference on “Hate online” on Thursday, she referred to the prosecutor responsible. According to “Krone”, security precautions for Zadic have been tightened.
