In the last 24 hours there were a total of 2,913 new corona virus infections in Austria. 396 of the patients are in intensive care units.
So far there have been 360,815 positive results in Austria. As of today (December 31, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 6,222 people across Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 332,952 have recovered.
Currently, 2,342 people are in hospital treatment for the coronavirus and 396 of them are in intensive care units.
2,913 new coronavirus infections in 24 hours
New infections since the last report are distributed among the Austrian federal states as follows:
- Burgenland: 54
- Carinthia: 193
- Lower Austria: 638
- Upper Austria: 495
- Salzburg: 306
- Steiermark: 374
- Tyrol: 251
- Vorarlberg: 173
- Vienna: 429
