Viessmann and Alexa are now working together
Anyone who relies on Viessmann heating control in their home can look forward to new support for the Alexa Digital Voice Assistant. A suitable skill has now appeared in the skill store.
In order to use voice control with Alexa, the heating system must be connected to the Internet via the Vitoconnect Internet interface or the integrated interface.
The following voice commands are available.
“Alexa, ask my heater what my target temperature is in the living room”
“Alexa, ask my heater what my temperature is in the living room,”
“Alexa, ask my heating what is my target temperature in heating circuit one”
“Alexa, tell my heater to set the temperature in the living room to eight degrees for two hours.”
“Alexa, tell my heater to set the temperature to eight degrees on heating circuit one”
“Alexa, tell my heater to stop manual mode”,
“Alexa, tell my heater to start a single charge of hot water”
