This enables planning wind factors to be determined in seconds, which means that drafts can be analyzed and optimized in real time in each planning phase, taking wind factors into account. In times of extreme weather conditions, wind currents are of great importance with respect to dangerous speeds during storms, but also to adjust the microclimatic conditions of a quarter. Despite measures for COVID-19 on CIL’s interactive online platform, this app could be developed across national borders with Giraffe Technologies partners.
“The cities of the future must not only be equipped with smart technologies, but must also be digitally planned in a consistent way, from the neighborhood to the building. With the new simulation, we can already consider the influence of wind currents on the microclimate, but also the effects of storms on planning and adjust numerous parameters in a very short time. Working in real working hours greatly simplifies the planning processes for our partners in architecture and urban development projects. We can adjust these complex plans in a matter of seconds. 3D models and project results are available 24 hours a day and can be exchanged with project partners worldwide using a browser, regardless of the location of the city’s intelligence lab. “This allows us to have a radically new way of seamless collaboration with our clients. The possibilities for digital collaboration beyond the office and national borders were already a reality before the crown crisis, but now they are gaining special attention and importance ”, Neubert is convinced. “Because the current situation now shows the enormous potential for global and cooperative cooperation and that it works,” says Neubert.
