Sparkassen Direkt-Versicherung (S-Direkt) has completed a new app for its customers that offers various digital services. For example, a new online feature helps prevent accidents and damage. If necessary and requested by the insured, geolocation provides quick help in the event of a breakdown. You always have all the information about your own contracts and new insurance options with you.
DThe presented application allows the client to get advice on the traffic law by phone in the event of an accident, so that they also behave correctly in this exceptional situation and, if necessary, make the right decisions despite a shock.
“With our app, we want to offer customers a new dimension of smart service. All important contract data is always there,” explains Dr. Jürgen Cramer, member of the board of directors. A central idea here is the safety of S-Direkt customers. On the other hand, the app should also act as an extended sales arm. If necessary, insurance in the areas of automobile and mobility, health and provision, home, apartment and technology, as well as law and liability, can be verified, booked or extended through the app. In principle, this is as obvious as it is reasonable in terms of customer loyalty. The customer, who has opted for direct insurance and is therefore self-sufficient anyway, gets an additional digital sales function here.
Almost 20 percent of drivers suffer damage each year.
But S-Direkt also wants to be able to help immediately in the event of a specific claim.
This works immediately with the app. If one of our customers needs help in the event of a breakdown or car accident, we can be by their phone or take care of their work with our online damage report. “
Dr. Jürgen Cramer, member of the board of directors.
S-Direkt emphasizes their service orientation: even without the app, they have won the German Service Award five times in a row and have also repeatedly demonstrated how good the service and value for money is through other tests and neutral studies.
The app brings us even closer to customer needs and offers new features that help customers directly and specifically, whether online or over the phone. That will further improve our service and response times. “
Dr. Jürgen Cramer, member of the board of directors.
Every year, about one in five drivers in Germany report damage, from falling rocks to a serious accident. In the event of a breakdown, the application uses geolocation to determine the exact location of the customer’s smartphone and, therefore, of the vehicle if the customer wishes and activates the function. Therefore, you can immediately request the right support – police, ambulance, fire service, or tow truck, as needed.
The application can also be used to process damage reports in minutes. A virtual assistant guides you through the message, similar to how you know it from a messenger or chat. Open-ended questions can be clarified with S-Direkt employees, so the S-Direkt service center can be contacted by phone 24 hours. If there are uncertainties and urgent questions about the traffic law at the accident scene, the application offers the option of free telephone advice from an attorney.
Application as an additional channel: accessible 24 hours
In addition, the application provides a complete description of the S-Direkt offers. “All about safety” means not only providing help in the event of an accident or other damage, but also having a wide range of products for all customer safety needs, “Cramer explains. The app will be expanded to include additional features in the coming years. weeks.
Our world is becoming more digital and we are adapting to customer requests for greater digitization and easier online options. We are currently working on additional features that will be available in the app soon. “
Dr. Jürgen Cramer, member of the board of directors.
The application is available for free on Google Play (for Android) or on the App Store (iOS) available. tw
