Labor market: unemployment is declining but remains high

Including the training participants, 3,282 men and women were registered in the Tulln district at the end of March, -958 or -22.6% less than the previous year.
According to the age group, there was a year-on-year decrease of -34.6% for people of working age (25-49 years) at the end of March and -15.6% for the elderly (50+). For young people (15 to 24 years old), the AMS registers 39.2% less affected. In addition to consistent placement, AMS has expanded the range of training courses in future professions. 519 job seekers currently use the AMS Tulln qualification offer, + 34.5% more than in March of the previous year.
