Merkel criticized, according to information from SPIEGEL, that the measures that the group has agreed to so far are not enough to break the dynamics of the infection. Regarding the “emergency brake”, according to the participants, Merkel said: “We decided today that we will adhere to what we decided last time.” That is not enough in a time of exponential growth in the number of infections. This is not how you can survive in public.
Among other things, the question of whether national tourism should be possible during the holidays, the Round Bund-Länder was divided. The issue of curfews is also controversial. A particularly controversial issue, the conditions under which schools and nurseries have to close, had already been postponed by the group on Monday afternoon, so far there has been no agreement.
