The women’s departure was scheduled for 9.30 a.m., the men’s at 11 a.m. These had to be finally canceled after waiting.
In the men’s category, the crystal ball goes to Vincent Kriechmayr, who is at the top of the discipline ranking for the first time after three second places. The 29-year-old was 83 points ahead of Swiss Marco Odermatt. Kriechmayr was on the podium four times in the current Super-G World Cup season: in addition to his victories at Kitzbühel and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, he came second at Bormio and a third, most recently, at Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
In the women’s category, Lara Gut-Behrami from Switzerland was already the winner of the discipline against Lenzerheide.
