Police are looking for this man for a serious robbery

After a serious robbery in December of the previous year, the Vienna police are now searching for the alleged perpetrator by means of a photograph. The cell phone thief attacked his victim with a knife.
On the night of December 31, 2020, shortly after 4:30 am, it is said that there was a dispute in the area of Europaplatz in front of the Westbahnhof in Vienna. A previously unknown suspect is said to have attempted to steal his mobile phone from the jacket pocket of a 30-year-old Somali man.
Knife Attack On Robbery Victims: Search For Cell Phone Thieves
In subsequent argument, the suspect is said to have struck the 30-year-old man in the face with a knife. The victim was able to flee the attacker and, according to his own statements, took off his jacket and shoes beforehand. The stranger took the 30-year-old’s clothes and cell phone and fled in the direction of the station lobby.
The photos of the alleged perpetrator could now be evaluated. The Viennese police request information (also anonymously) from the Vienna State Criminal Police Office, West Branch, at 01-31310-25100.
