In Austria it’s Thursdays nearly 3,000 new infections has been reported with SARS-CoV-2. According to the Ministry of the Interior and Health, 2,997 people have been infected since Wednesday. The number of intensive care patients also rose again, from 14 to 329. On average, 2,467 people were infected with the coronavirus every day in the past week. 17,270 new cases were added in seven days. Tense situation in hospitals
