Around 100 children and young people stayed in the shell of a cultural association in Wels on Saturday afternoon. The police ended the meeting and filed several complaints for non-compliance with Covid measures. Previously, the police handed out FFP2 masks to everyone and established the identity of the people. That was very calm and orderly, and the parents who came were also cooperative, the executive reported.
Eating pizza together
The emergency services were informed around 12:30 pm that around 100 people were in a building of a cultural association and would not meet the minimum distance or mask requirement. When the police arrived, it turned out that it was the frame of a pop-up building and that the people were mainly children and young people. According to the president of the association, they visited the new building and then ate pizza together.
