In the last 24 hours, 2,123 new corona virus infections were reported in Austria (at 9:30 am). Most of the cases occurred in Lower Austria.
So far, 459,440 positive results have been obtained in Austria. As of today (February 28, 2021, 9:30 a.m.), 8,561 people in Austria have died from the consequences of the coronavirus and 430,415 have recovered. There are currently 1,291 people in hospital treatment due to the coronavirus. Of these, 279 are cared for in intensive care units.
