The country’s board recorded 32 new infections as of Tuesday lunchtime, compared with 59 recoveries.
Starting Tuesday 12 noon: Since midnight Monday, 32 new infections have been recorded in Vorarlberg, compared with 59 recoveries. 450 Vorarlbergers are currently considered to be actively positive.
There was also another death to mourn at lunchtime Tuesday. In Vorarlberg, 266 people have so far died in connection with the virus, according to Tuesday’s state panel.
Situation in hospitals
Of the 52 intensive care beds nationwide, nine were occupied by crown patients as of Tuesday morning, 19 intensive care beds were still available for all patient groups. A total of 29 crown patients were cared for as inpatients.
Eight hospital employees were infected with the corona virus and eight more were in quarantine.

Seven-day incidence
While the seven-day incidence has stagnated in Austria for about two weeks, the trend in Vorarlberg is slightly downward. With a seven-day incidence of 84.9, Vorarlberg has the third best value behind Tyrol and Upper Austria.
The Bregenz district is doing particularly well. With a seven-day incidence of 50.4, Bregenz has the often mentioned target value of 50. Only nine districts of Austria have an even better value.
