Halvor Egner Granerud celebrated his eleventh victory of the season at the Ski Jumping World Cup on Sunday. The Norwegian won in Zakopane ahead of Slovenian Anze Lanisek and his teammate Robert Johansson. In what was probably his last outing before the World Cup, Stefan Kraft finished fifth behind Norwegian Marius Lindvik. Daniel Huber was tenth as the second best Austrian.
Philipp Aschenwald was 15th, Michael Hayböck 17th, Ulrich Wohlgenannt (25th) and Thomas Lackner (28th) scored a few more points in the World Cup. Jan Hörl had not left due to knee problems. Next weekend in Rasnov is the last World Cup season before the World Championship in Oberstdorf. Kraft and the other ÖSV World Cup participants will likely not be in Romania to prepare for the title fights.
