On the hunt for twice the speed: Will the men of ÖSV also be able to act on the descent after winning the Super G World Cup? The decision on the coveted gold medal at this year’s World Championships in Cortina will be made from 11 a.m.
Super G world champion Vincent Kriechmayr opens the race with number one starting, training winner Dominik Paris starts in third place, Olympic downhill champion Matthias Mayer in fifth. Beat Feuz also starts the race early in seventh place, ÖSV expects Max Franz to follow in tenth place.
Romed Baumann, who won silver in the opening race, remains at number 13, defending champion Kjetil Jansrud enters the race again at 17, before Otmar Streidinger (19) starts as the last Austrian. A total of 42 runners dare to participate.
