Next attempt for the start of the World Ski Championships in Cortina: The wait should finally come to an end on Thursday. Women start at 10:45 with the Super-G ticker – LIVE >>>
After Tuesday’s puzzle, the second attempt is made on Thursday. Favorites pick almost the same numbers as on the first try.
The race will be opened by local heroine Marta Bassino. Tamra Tippler, Austria’s greatest hope, has again chosen number 3. Top seed Lara Gut-Behrami (SUI) has chosen number 7. Corine Suter (SUI) has 5, Federica Brignone (ITA) 9 and Ester Ledecka (CZE) 11.
Ariane Rädler is the second Austrian to start with number 6. The other ÖSV starters will receive the highest possible numbers: Christine Scheyer is number 18, Stephanie Venier is number 20.
A total of 43 runners are at the start.
