Andrea Kolassa will be responsible for life and health insurance at Donau Versicherung AG from May. The company’s pension plan is professionally integrated.
The company announced the appointment by the board of directors in a broadcast on Wednesday.
Education and career
Kolassa studied technical mathematics at the Technical University of Vienna and, upon graduation in 2002, completed a postgraduate degree in International Business at the University of London.
He started his professional career in the audit department of KPMG in Austria. As an audit manager, he was in charge of the annual audits.
In 2015 he joined Vienna Insurance Group AG (VIG). In January 2018 he took over the financial and accounting management of the Danube and is in charge of the IFRS 17 and 9 project.
Kolassa is a member of the Austrian Association of Actuaries (AVÖ).
