On the night of Sunday to Monday it was unclear about the talks between the Health Ministry and Tyrol on whether the country would face even tougher measures due to the “mutant South Africa.” From cottage circles the APA was told that negotiations between Minister Rudolf Anschober (Greens) and LH Günther Platter (ÖVP) had been postponed to no avail. At the moment, however, there was no confirmation from the federal government.
An official statement could not be received despite several requests from the APA. From the field house it was said that the additional schedule had not yet been set, that it would be determined by the federal government and will probably be discussed on Monday. The talks must have been more than impaled and controversial. More recently, there was even an isolation or quarantine or an extension of confinement for Tyrol in the room. On Anschober’s side, it was said that a “balance sheet” would be drawn up on Sunday night and a decision would be announced later.
