More serious illness than expected

Rossi fell ill with Covid-19 during his stay with the Zurich Lions in November, but was later able to participate in the U-20 World Cup in Canada. The club initially named a back injury as the reason

Minnesota had initially given an unspecified upper body injury as the reason for the forward’s prolonged absence. It is not known if this injury has ended or if Rossi has further disabilities in addition to the aftermath of Covid. The Vorarlberger had been selected by the Minnesota Wild in the fall and shortly after had signed a contract with the NHL club.
