Jarl Magnus Riiber achieves the second win at the Nordic Triple Combine in Seefeld.
After jumping, the Norwegian is 27 seconds ahead of Japan’s Akito Watabe and 59 seconds ahead of Finn Ikka Herola. The best Austrian is Johannes Lamparter, who is fifth after a jump of 98.5 m and is 1:19 minutes late in the 10 km of cross-country skiing.
The previous day’s winner, Riiber, lands 99 meters and is 27 seconds ahead of Japan’s Akito Watabe (97 m), who was also second the day before. The backlog of the opening contest was eliminated.
Surprisingly, the second best Austrian is Stefan Rettenegger (98.5m), who is 13th, 2:11 minutes behind. Lukas Greiderer and Christian Deuschl are in places 17 and 18, Martin Fritz is 20. For Lukas Klapfer and Mario Seidl only places 23 and 24 remain. On the ninth day before Thomas Jöbstl, however, he failed his jump (90 m) and It only takes that 28th place (+3: 02 min.).
