ÖVP does not deport criminal asylum seekers
Vienna (OTS) – The head of the Viennese FPÖ, Dominik Nepp, criticizes the failure of the authorities during the years of tug of war to deport a Georgian family. “It is characteristic of the disastrous state of the ÖVP Interior Ministry that people whose asylum case seems hopeless can dance around the authorities for more than ten years,” Nepp said.
For Nepp, on the one hand the parents of those affected, on the other hand, also those associations that have financed this desperate process for years are responsible for this situation in current cases.
The FPÖ leader in Vienna demands that an abbreviated asylum procedure be anchored in the law in cases where there is no possibility. “People who do not have the right to asylum in Austria have to leave the country again in a very short time. Asylum seekers who have committed criminal offenses must also be deported immediately. Unfortunately, the ÖVP has failed in these cases for many years ”, emphasizes Nepp. (Enough)
