Lienz will remain an integral part of the Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup calendar until at least 2025.
The Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV), the Lienz Ski Club (SCL) as the implementing association and the East Tyrol Tourism Association have agreed on this, as announced in a broadcast on Wednesday.
In 1997, women’s World Cup races were organized for the first time in Hochstein. Since then, Lienz has organized two technology races every two years, alternating with Semmering.
And it is still the same this year: the slalom will take place on December 28, 2021 and the giant slalom on December 29.
