The new curator should have verified the inventory of the art collection in May. He found that three 17th-century firearms and 47 photographs had disappeared from the warehouse. As a result, a complaint was filed, making Abbot Ambros Ebhard in front of the “Kronen Zeitung”. During the investigation, a confrere was attacked. The man is said to have admitted to selling the art objects in order to raise money for a possible restoration of other works.
