January 22, 2021: Markus Rubak heads the regular sales department, Erhard Forstner heads the automotive department and Hannes Ernst-Nordhaus heads the new corporate management department.
As reported in Thursday’s edition, Franziska Dieplinger took over the management of Donau Versicherung AG’s new portfolio and customer management department on January 1, 2021 (VersicherungsJournal January 21, 2021).

The insurer has reported new appointments that took effect at the beginning of the year.
Markus Rubak
Markus Rubak (44) is the new head of regular sales.
He began his career in insurance while studying business informatics at the Vienna University of Technology, which he completed in 2002.
As leader of the reinsurance group in Victoria-Volksbanken-Versicherung, he developed the non-life actuarial services. In the summer of 2006 he moved to the Allianz Group, where he was most recently sales manager for Lower Austria and Burgenland.
In August 2020, Rubak reached the Danube.
Erhard forstner

The automotive department is now under the direction of Erhard Forstner (36).
Forstner studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and graduated in 2010. Starting in 2008, he gained professional experience in market research and brand management.

Forstner has worked for the Danube since 2011. After joining the claims department, he took over and managed this area since 2014.
Hannes Ernst-Nordhaus
Hannes Ernst-Nordhaus (48) heads the newly established sales control, specialists and corporate management department.
Ernst-Nordhaus joined the banking industry in 1995 after his military service and work as an executive. He ran two branches of a regional Raiffeisenkasse and was responsible for controlling.
In October 2007 he moved to the Danube, where he was responsible for expanding sales management. Most recently, he ran the regular sales department.
