Hartberg – Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 9:53 am

After Marc Andre Schmerböck’s engagement (read HERE >>>) there could be two more winter newcomers at TSV Hartberg shortly.

As the “little one” reports, the Styrians have two test players on board at the training ground in Slovenia. As captain of the second division Kapfenberg, Matija Horvat is no stranger to Austria, aside from 23-year-old left-back Jan Gassmann, who moved from the Young Violets to Drava Ptuj in Slovenia in August.

“He (Horvat, note) is an interesting player and we want to take a closer look at him. But nothing has been fixed yet. There will be a decision at the weekend,” says President Erich Korherr.

Croatian Horvat had one exception (yellow card penalty against Rapid II) in all second division games of the season so far. Gassmann is also an undisputed regular at his club, but the Slovenian second division team is in danger of relegation.
