Bundesliga club SV Ried have found a successor for coach Gerald Baumgartner.
As announced by the Upper Austrian club on New Year’s Eve, Miron Muslic will take office on January 1, 2021. The 38-year-old was recently head coach at FAC Vienna. At the same time as Miron Muslic, Wolfgang Fiala will start his work as a sports coordinator at Ried.
“Miron Muslic knows SV Guntamatic Ried very well. At Ried, he not only worked as an assistant coach for the pros, but also as a coach for the Young Vikings and the Academy. In coordination with the board of directors, we decided to take a brave new path together with Miron Muslic, ”SVR CEO Rainer Wöllinger is quoted in a broadcast.
Muslic and Fiala will officially appear at a press conference on January 4 at 11 am as part of the training session.
