The animal lover decided to keep the young cow until the animal can be helped. Gut Aiderbichl Managing Director Dieter Ehrengruber and his team immediately decided to save the animal and bring it to Gut Aiderbichl.
After an intensive investigation, the owner of the animal was found and it was agreed with him that they would buy the animal from him. Not a second before, because the owner was already looking for the fugitive animal: he wanted to catch it and then take it directly to the slaughterhouse. The animal rescuer immediately took the frightened animal to the heart and bought the cow from the owner on the spot.
Meanwhile, Gut Aiderbichl animal rescuers were already on the scene and took the young cow to Gut Aiderbichl Kilb, where “Lieni” can recover from the impact and graze fearlessly on the meadows. “We had no doubt about helping the animal. For “Lieni” this is a true Christmas miracle, “says Dieter Ehrengruber.
