If students want to spend Christmas Eve with their grandparents, they now have the option of going into domestic isolation starting Monday and being released from class. The prerequisite for this is that the grandparents belong to the risk group, the decision in this regard is made by the school leadership.

A few days before Christmas, a few hours before the announcement of a new strict lockdown, many parents wonder how they can celebrate Christmas Eve with their loved ones in the safest way possible. Now there is the possibility that students will quarantine at home from the weekend and stay away from classes to keep the risk of infection as low as possible.
Written request to the school management.
The prerequisite for this is that the grandparents belong to the risk group and that the parents submit a written request to the school management in which it is credibly presented. Because the decision on this special exemption belongs to the schools. For example, if the grandparents do not belong to the risk group, there is no excuse. So this is not a leave of absence to school.
Schools open on December 21, 22 and 23
For all other students, schools will definitely remain open on December 21, 22 and 23, as it was called Thursday night on “ZiB 2” after discussions with the Ministry of Education. According to media reports, education directorates complain that they only know about this option because of hearsay.
