6,668 new infections since Thursday morning in Austria.

In a 24-hour comparison, 6,668 new coronavirus infections were added on Friday. During the same period, 108 people died as a result of an infection.
In hospitals there was a small increase, a total of 15 more patients had to be treated in the hospital on Friday than on Thursday, four of them were added to intensive care units.
6,668 new corona infections on Friday in Austria
A total of 4,629 Covid 19 patients were in hospitals on Friday. 687 of them required intensive medical care, according to figures from the Interior Ministry and the Health Ministry.
There were 76,644 active corona cases in Austria on Friday. On average, there were 6,303 new infections every day for the past week. Last Friday, the highest number of new infections was reported in Austria – it was 9,586 exactly a week ago. The seven-day incidence per 100,000 residents was 495.7 on Friday, dropping below 500 for the first time since Nov. 8.
Since the start of the pandemic, 235,351 people in Austria have tested positive. 156,483 N.

- Tyrol: 690
