Today there are 678 new corona infections in 24 hours in Salzburg. This means that 4,426 people in the state are currently infected with Covid-19.
So far 9,386 people (+678 compared to yesterday’s morning report) have tested positive for Covid-19 in Salzburg. According to EMS, the number of actively infected people in the state is currently 4,426 (+526).

Active infected persons by district compared to last morning’s report:
- Salzburg City 947 (+176)
- Flachgau 1449 (+129)
- Tennengau 503 (+13)
- Pongau 833 (+108),
- Pinzgau 548 (+55)
- Lungau 146 (+45)
There are currently 112 Covid-19 patients in the hospital, another 23 are being treated in the intensive care unit. 4,065 people are quarantined at home or have restricted traffic as contact persons.
The Ministry of Health counts more than 6,400 new infections in Austria. Health Minister Rudi Anschober (Greens) reported the details at a press conference on Friday.
