When Wolfsberger AC plays in the Europa League at Dinamo Zagreb tonight (starting at 9:00 pm on the LIVE ticker and on DAZN), the focus is not only on sports but also on the corona virus.
Both clubs reported large numbers of infected people on Wednesday unable to participate in events at the Stadio Maksimir.
Eight players and coaches tested positive at WAC. The Croatian champions will have to do without coach Zoran Mamic and, according to a statement on Wednesday morning, a total of nine players who are on UEFA’s squad list.
Compared to EL’s last game in Feyenoord Rotterdam, WAC coach Feldhofer has made three changes. Mario Pavelic, Eliel Peretz and Kai Stratznig move to the starting lineup, Michael Liendl, Jonathan Scherzer and Mario Leitgeb are not on the team.
