Coronavirus: new restrictions apply from Sunday

The city of Salzburg and Lungau are changing from yellow to orange. “We have an increasing number of infections across the country. The biggest ‘jump’ this time was in Pinzgau, from yellow to red. Sporting events in first-class sport are permitted anywhere in the country if they are held as part of a national or international competition. No public indoors; outdoors, the upper limit applies to a maximum of 1,500 people with assigned and marked seating. This should ensure the games at Red Bull Arena with an audience in the Flachgau community of Wals-Siezenheim.

The regulation applies until November 15

The new state measures regulation will apply from Saturday, October 24 at midnight until probably November 15. No other community quarantined at the moment

• Exceptions: children under six years of age and people who cannot use mouth and nose protection for health reasons.
