“There is no reason to panic”

Anschober contradicts criticism of the regulation
When asked about the late publication of the regulation, Anschober stated that it was personally important to him that the measures go into effect and not the date the regulation went into effect. What is regulated in the new regulation
Mouth and nose protection: When entering public places in closed rooms (for example, an underground passage), mouth and nose protection should be worn. This also applies to events with assigned seats. A mask should also be worn on the seat.
Mask: In the future, the mouth and nose protection should fit well. This makes it clear that face shields or chin shields are not considered mouth and nose protection.
Public places: When entering public places in the open air, a distance of at least one meter must be kept from people who do not live in the same household. When entering closed rooms with public access, there is also an obligation to wear a tight mechanical protection device that covers the area of the mouth and nose.
Exceptions to the distance requirement: The ordinance stipulates when the distance of 1 meter does not apply: between people who live together in the same household, within groups of up to six people (plus a maximum of six minor children up to the age of 18), between people with disabilities and on the plane and in public transport. Protection of the mouth and nose is mandatory on airplanes and public transport.
Gastronomy: In bars, the maximum group size is reduced to six people indoors (plus a maximum of six minors up to 18 years of age) and a maximum of 12 people outdoors (plus a maximum of six minors up to 18 years). Bars with more than 50 seats must present a prevention plan. A Covid-19 officer must also be appointed. Food and drinks can only be consumed sitting down.
Alcohol: The novelty is that after curfew, alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed within 50 meters of a restaurant.
New upper limits for events
Six people in closed rooms, if there is no fixed seating, twelve people for events without designated outdoor seating.
1000 people for events with fixed seats indoors, 1500 people outdoors. Serving food and beverages during events is prohibited.
Choirs: Rehearsals and performances by choirs and bands are now regulated in the novel. In the amateur area, only six people will be allowed to participate indoors and 12 outdoors. In the professional sector, there is an obligation to develop a concept for the prevention of Covid-19.

Retirement, elderly and disabled homes: When entering there is an obligation to wear oral and nasal protection. In addition, it is stipulated that visits as part of palliative support and palliative care must be possible in any case.
