On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, 1,346 new coronavirus infections were reported in Austria. There are currently 14,106 active cases of coronavirus in Austria. 11 deaths in 24 hours
Eleven deaths were added in the last 24 hours. There were 654 people in hospital treatment (43 more than on Tuesday), 112 patients are in intensive care units. 45,846 infected people have been recovered.
402 new infections in Vienna
Most cases were once again reported in Vienna: 402 new infections were recorded there (5523 tests were reported in Vienna, the positive part of the tests was 7.3 percent). In Lower Austria, 234 cases have been added since Tuesday, which is also a new record. 184 new cases were reported in Tyrol. The remaining 526 cases are distributed among the remaining federal states as follows: Upper Austria (234), Salzburg (134), Vorarlberg (77), Carinthia (72), Styria (62) and Burgenland (42).
AGES took over the board on October 6. There are some changes, among other things, the data is only updated once a day at 2pm. Due to adjustments to international requirements and data validation, there are deviations in the information on the AGES dashboard compared to the last appearance of the official dashboard.
