The latest data from the US labor market fell short of experts’ expectations. In recent weeks, there have been a surprising number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the United States.
The mood on Wall Street could now give more momentum. The future of the Dow Jones indicates a slight advantage after the heavy losses of the previous day.
In Vienna, the reporting situation at the company level remained weak. On the other hand, some real estate values rose. Immofinanz was up 1.1 percent. Warimpex was up 2.1 percent. CA Immo, on the other hand, fell 0.2 percent after progressive gains.
Among heavyweights, OMV shares lost 1.1 percent to 24.44 euros after a more negative analyst opinion. The securities experts at Erste Group have lowered their investment recommendation for stocks from “Buy” to “Accumulate”. In addition, the target price was revised down from 40 to 29 euros.
Andritz won 1.3 percent. The Styrian technology group has received another major order from Singapore. However, no information was provided about the order value.
